Punch Pass Booking & Participation Policy

At Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts (PACA), we use Punchpass to manage class registrations, bookings, attendance, and participant waivers.

To help ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for everyone, we ask all participants to review the following policies before attending classes.

Class Registration & Booking

All participants must register for classes through our online Punchpass booking system.

Participants should ensure their contact information is accurate and up to date.

Participants are encouraged to book classes in advance to secure their spot.

Class availability is limited based on instructor capacity, equipment, and safety requirements.

Participants must register for the appropriate class based on their age, experience, and skill level.

Liability Waiver & Informed Consent

All participants must complete and electronically sign PACA’s Liability Waiver and Informed Consent Form through Punchpass before participating in any classes or activities.

Circus arts, including aerial and acrobatic training, involve inherent physical risks. Participants must understand and acknowledge these risks before taking part.

Our waiver addresses:

• The physical risks associated with aerial and acrobatic circus training, including the possibility of serious injury.
• Personal responsibility for participating safely and following instructor guidance.
• Health considerations and the risk of exposure to communicable illnesses.
• Prohibition of participation while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Responsibility for damage resulting from equipment misuse or failure to follow safety instructions.
• Release of liability provisions concerning PACA and other parties identified in the waiver.

Participants must read the complete waiver carefully before signing. The summary above does not replace the full waiver or its terms.

PACA reserves the right to refuse participation when a required waiver has not been completed.

Class Cancellations & Attendance

We understand that schedules can change. Participants who are unable to attend a booked class are asked to cancel their reservation through Punchpass as early as possible.

• Please cancel bookings through your Punchpass account.
• Late cancellations and missed classes may be subject to the cancellation terms associated with the purchased pass or program.
• Participants should arrive on time and be ready to participate safely.
• Late arrivals may be unable to join activities if they have missed essential warm-ups or safety instructions.

Any applicable cancellation deadlines, credit policies, or refund conditions should be reviewed at the time of booking.

Class Passes & Payments

Class passes, packages, and program registrations are managed through Punchpass.

Participants are responsible for reviewing the terms associated with their purchases, including expiration dates, eligible classes, and any applicable restrictions.

Passes and registrations are subject to PACA’s published payment and refund conditions.

Health & Safety

The safety of our participants, instructors, and community is a priority.

All participants are expected to:

• Follow instructor directions and facility safety procedures.
• Use aerial apparatuses and other equipment only when authorized.
• Wear appropriate clothing and remove accessories that may create a safety hazard.
• Inform instructors of relevant injuries, limitations, or concerns that may affect safe participation.
• Refrain from attending classes when experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.
• Never participate while under the influence of alcohol or impairing substances.
• Treat fellow participants, instructors, and equipment with respect.

Accessibility & Accommodations

IPACA strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for participants with different abilities, experiences, and learning styles.

Participants who require accommodations, modified instruction, or additional support are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can discuss available options.

Where possible, we will work with participants to identify reasonable accommodations while maintaining appropriate safety standards.

Schedule Changes & Class Cancellations

Occasionally, classes may need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to instructor availability, facility circumstances, weather, or other unforeseen events.

PACA will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants of changes using the contact information associated with their Punchpass accounts.

Any credits, transfers, or refunds resulting from a PACA-initiated cancellation will be communicated to affected participants.
